Morris Mensa-Wood, President and Head of the engineering team obtained his BSc. Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana (1973). Ing. M. Mensa-Wood is a member of the Ghana institution of Engineers (1980). He worked as Mechanical Engineer at the Marine Department in Takoradi, VALCO Plant in Tema, and finally Ghana Ports Authority in Tema. He left Ghana in 1984 and was a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Botswana Polytechnic, Gaborone, Botswana.
Mustapha Mamud is the Operations Director of Menswood Consult. In his role, he has overall responsibility for the leadership and organizational abilities, knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines, in-depth knowledge of operations and maintenance, and design software packages.
Over 30 years experience in the construction industry, participating in all phases of construction program management from inception to project completion. Project experience includes residential, commercial, industrial, oil & gas, and infrastructure projects ranging in size from $1 million to $200 million.
He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, MSc. in Nuclear Engineering and PhD in Nuclear Engineering. He has over 35 years’ experience in instrumentation and control, data acquisition systems, systems integration, sensor research, and development of hardware/software systems for both nuclear and electrical applications. His work experience also includes several years in U.S. government research laboratories and teaching positions at universities in the United States, Ghana, and Liberia.
